Whereas there are some exceptions, most group schools don’t supply the level of support and steerage that most students with studying disabilities require. Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia is one of the few faculties in the US that has a particular program of their Autism Coaching Center, which works with Autism spectrum disorders like Aspergers. Though many colleges have counselors and employees acquainted with Autism, solely Marshall has a program tailored specifically for autistic college students. The program serves three of the university’s sixteen,360 students and may eventually accommodate 10; it would remain small by selection.
