What is a flannel board or story board? Two questionnaires have been completed. The primary was a demographic survey, which requested for information about practitioner instructional skills, present (if any) schooling being undertaken, employment standing, years of experience within the early childhood training sector, and previous and current music engagement. Following this, contributors accomplished the Music Beliefs Questionnaire (MBQ). The MBQ is a 37-merchandise survey, which gauges beliefs and values regarding the function of music within early childhood. Modified from the Austin and Reinhardt (1999) scale, the 37 objects have been designed to measure three key construct areas. These pertained to the useful outcomes of music for kids in (1) artistic and cultural improvement, (2) quality of life, and (3) social and emotional improvement.
